QUALITY CONTROL
NexQ Closed Loop Process Control
NexQ SEP (Same Edge Perfector)
NexQ ECS (Environmental Control System)
NexQ ASP (Automatic Sheet Positioner)
To achieve a level of consistency and quality similar to offset printing, NexPress developed seven quality-control measures that together make up the unique NexQ quality control system. The NexPress 2100 features an offset blanket cylinder that transfers the image to the paper. This technology enables printing on textured papers, and extends the life of imaging cylinders by removing their contact with the paper's abrasive surface. The NexPress 2100 can print on a variety of paper stocks and weights - from 20 lb. bond up to 110 lb. cover. The unique NexQ SEP "Same Edge Perfector" technology ensures a consistent, accurate color-to-color and front-to-back register by always using the same paper edge to guide a sheet - whether it's straight printing or perfecting.

Process Colors: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black

**5th Station adds Satin Coating (Flood or Spot) or Enhanced Color Gamut

VARIABLE DATA PRINTING
The applications range from simple versioning to complex fully customized print jobs with data-driven graphics. With this in mind, Heidelberg offers a family of VDP solutions that support a broad range of applications.
The VDP market continues to grow as VDP has been proven to increase customer response rates and the effectiveness of print communications.
OPEN VDP SOLUTIONS
Park's philosophy is open solutions and we embrace standards. For Variable Data Printing, that standard is PPML/VDX - Personalized Print Mark-up Language for Variable Data eXchange. We accept this emerging standard that employs the benefits of PODi's PPML to encode the layout of variable data along with Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF) for proven openness, reliability, mobility, and on-screen proofing. PPML/VDX provides efficient PDF workflow when processing variable data jobs.

Kodak KPG-DI 5634 DirectPress
4-color printing
Max. Sheet Size: 13.39" x 18.11"
Min. Sheet Size: 3.54" x 3.94"
This waterless press can run with the big boys. We installed this press to
bridge the gap between our Digital and Conventional workflows. The KPG is
capable of the same fine line screening as our larger presses. Prints on a
broad range of substrates. The KPG DirectPress 5634 DI combines the high
quality of offset printing with the automation and efficiencies of digital
printing and as an added bonus it prints four color envelopes!
No more converting for small runs!... Yay!... does anyone read this stuff?
